Privacy Policy

How N-able Others collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

01Who We Are

N-able Others ("we", "us", "our") provides therapeutic education for children and young people with complex needs across our locations in the UK. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Add your registered company name, registered address, and any company or charity registration number here. You should also name the person responsible for data protection if you have one.

02What Data We Collect

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message.

When you submit a review, we collect your name, your review, and any details you choose to include.

We also collect basic anonymous information about visits to this website, such as which pages are viewed, to help us keep the site working well.

List here any additional data your organisation collects (for example, referral information received from local authorities or schools) and where it is stored.

03How We Use Your Data

We use enquiry details to respond to your questions and to discuss potential placements or referrals with you. We use review submissions to consider displaying them on our website.

We never sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your permission.

Explain here the lawful basis you rely on for processing (for example, legitimate interest for responding to enquiries, consent for publishing reviews, and legal obligation for any safeguarding records).

04How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep enquiry records for 12 months from the date they are submitted, after which they are deleted. This covers responding to you and any follow-up questions.

We keep review submissions for 3 years from the date they are submitted. Reviews that are not published are removed sooner.

Any records relating directly to the young people we support may be kept for longer where the law requires it.

05Who We Share Your Data With

Your data is stored securely and is accessible only to authorised members of our team. We share information outside our organisation only where necessary, for example with a local authority or school involved in a referral, or where the law requires it.

Our website is hosted by Base44, who act as a processor on our behalf. This means they store and process the information submitted through this website (such as enquiries and reviews) only on our instructions, under a contract that requires them to keep it secure and confidential. Data is stored on secure servers, and any transfer of data outside the UK is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

06Cookies and Analytics

This website does not use cookies. We collect basic, anonymous visit statistics to help us understand how the site is used and keep it working well; these statistics do not identify you personally.

Sign-in sessions for our staff, such as managers accessing the portal, are stored in the browser's local storage rather than cookies, and only on the device used to sign in.

07Your Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent where consent was relied upon. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
